Dear All, Please prepare the following for tomorrow, 13h!
Short presentation of your analysis (5 minutes per group!) - try to be as precise as possible!
- short overview of the artist´s work (3 printouts of images of the selected artist work)
- focus on one specific work (or series of works that are connected)
- definition of principles, materiality, material behaviour, technique, color, geometry etc. (try to be precise, words!)
- one drawing (A3) that show the principle, technique, or.... of the work (can be sketches or computer / vectorgraphics)
- what fascinates you the most?
- working model(s) that are an abstraction of the principles you found (you can pick one or a few, maybe even combine them in a model).
- three words that sum up the most interesting (spatial) principles of the work
major question: what does the artwork do spatially? does it connect / separate? is it about the inside / outside? what does it do architecturally? between people?
what are used materials / techniques / geometry etc.?
how can you abstract those principles into an abstract physical model?
